RiteSelect Community Guidelines

Welcome to the RiteSelect community! Our platform thrives when Buyers and Vendors connect with respect, honesty, and a shared passion for great products. These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) outline the standards of behavior we expect from all users to ensure a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
By using RiteSelect.com, you agree to abide by these Guidelines, our Terms and Conditions, and all other platform policies. Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, or permanent suspension.
1. Our Core Principles
Our community is built on three foundational principles:
· Respect: Treat everyone with courtesy and respect, even when you disagree.
· Honesty: Be transparent and truthful in all your interactions and representations.
· Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of the community in your actions.
2. Guidelines for All Users
A. Communication & Interaction
· Be Respectful: Do not harass, bully, threaten, or hatefully target other members. We have zero tolerance for hate speech, discrimination, or abusive language based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
· Be Professional: Communicate clearly and professionally, especially when resolving issues. Avoid using excessive slang, all-caps, or offensive language.
· Protect Privacy: Do not share anyone else's personal information (e.g., address, phone number, email) without their explicit consent. This includes screenshots of private messages.
B. Content & Reviews
· Provide Honest Feedback: Product reviews and shop reviews are vital for building trust. Share your genuine, firsthand experience.
· Be Constructive: Focus your reviews on the product and your experience with the order (e.g., quality, accuracy, shipping), not on personal attributes of the Vendor or Buyer.
· No Extortion: Do not threaten to leave a negative review to extract a refund or additional goods that were not part of the original transaction.
· No Manipulation: Do not post fake, biased, or misleading reviews. This includes posting reviews for your own products or coordinating with others to inflate ratings.
C. Security & Integrity
· One Account Per Person: Do not create multiple accounts to manipulate reviews, circumvent restrictions, or mislead others.
· No Spam: Do not send unsolicited advertising, promotions, or repetitive messages to other users.
· Report, Don't Engage: If you encounter a user violating these guidelines, report them to RiteSelect. Do not engage in arguments or retaliate.
3. Additional Guidelines for Vendors
· Accurate Representation: Your shop, product listings, and policies must be accurate, truthful, and transparent. Do not mislead buyers with false advertising or stock images that misrepresent the actual product.
· Professionalism in Disputes: Work with buyers professionally and in good faith to resolve any issues. Adhere to your stated shop policies and RiteSelect’s dispute resolution process.
· Respect Intellectual Property: Only sell items that you have the legal right to sell. Do not infringe on trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property.
4. Additional Guidelines for Buyers
· Read Listings Carefully: Ensure you understand what you are purchasing, including the description, price, and the Vendor’s shop policies, before completing your order.
· Communicate Respectfully: Vendors are often small business owners or individual creators. Please be patient and respectful when asking questions or resolving issues.
· Use the System Correctly: Only use the "Request Return" or "Open Dispute" features for their intended purposes, not as a tool for harassment.
5. How to Report a Violation
If you see another user violating these Guidelines, please help us by reporting it.
1. On a product listing: Use the "Report Item" button.
2. On a user's profile or in a message: Use the "Report User" button.
3. For all other issues, contact our Trust & Safety team directly at: trust@riteselect.com.
Please provide a direct link to the content (if applicable) and a detailed description of the violation. Our team will investigate all reports promptly and confidentially.
6. Enforcement
We will review any reported violations against these Guidelines. Our actions may include, but are not limited to:
· Warning: Issuing a formal warning for a first-time, minor violation.
· Content Removal: Deleting reviews, messages, or product listings that break the rules.
· Account Restrictions: Temporarily limiting features, such as the ability to message, sell, or buy.
· Account Suspension: Permanently banning an account for severe or repeated violations.
We reserve the right to enforce these Guidelines at our sole discretion.
