Classified Products Policy

At Rite Select, our goal is to create a safe, trustworthy, and efficient platform for users to buy and sell both new and used products through our Classifieds section. To ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for all users, the following policy outlines what is allowed, what is restricted, and the expectations for posting classified products.

1. General Guidelines

• All classified listings must comply with local laws and regulations.

• Only genuine, legally-owned items may be sold.

• Sellers must provide accurate and honest descriptions of products, including their condition (new or used), specifications, and any defects.

• Listings must include clear, actual images of the product being sold.

2. Allowed Product Types

You may post classified listings for a wide range of categories, including but not limited to:

• Electronics (phones, laptops, appliances)

• Clothing and accessories

• Furniture

• Vehicles

• Books and media

• Tools and equipment

• Home and garden items

• Toys and games

3. Prohibited Products

The following items are not allowed in classified listings:

• Illegal or stolen goods

• Counterfeit products or replicas (e.g., fake designer items)

• Weapons, explosives, or ammunition

• Alcohol, tobacco, or drugs (including prescription medication)

• Adult content or sexually explicit material

• Live animals

• Hazardous materials or recalled items

• Services or jobs (classifieds are for products only)

4. Product Condition Guidelines

• New: Items that are unused, in original packaging, and in perfect condition.

• Used - Like New: Items that may have been used briefly but show no visible signs of wear.

• Used - Good: Items with minor wear and fully functional.

• Used - Acceptable: Items with clear signs of use but still operational.

Sellers must choose the correct condition to avoid misleading buyers.

5. Posting Rules

• Each product must have its own listing (no bundling unrelated items).

• Duplicate listings of the same item are not permitted.

• Listings must be written in clear language and free of spam or misleading titles.

• Prices must be clearly stated—"Contact for price" is not allowed.

6. Communication & Transactions

• All communications between buyers and sellers should remain respectful and professional.

• Rite Select does not guarantee or handle payments for classified listings unless otherwise specified.

• Users are encouraged to meet in safe, public places for local transactions.

7. Reporting Violations

If you come across any suspicious, inappropriate, or fraudulent listings, please report them immediately using the “Report” feature or contact our support team at support@riteselect.com.

8. Consequences of Policy Violation

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Removal of the listing

• Temporary suspension of your account

• Permanent ban from the platform for repeated or severe offenses
