Welcome to Rite Select, a multivendor e-commerce platform that connects vendors with customers. This Vendor Policy outlines the rules, responsibilities, and expectations for all vendors using the platform. By registering as a vendor and selling on Rite Select, you agree to comply with this policy. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in suspension or termination of your account.

1. Vendor Registration and Eligibility

1.1 Who Can Become a Vendor?
To sell on Rite Select, you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction).
  • Provide accurate and verifiable business details.
  • Have a valid payment account to receive payouts.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
1.2 Registration Requirements
Vendors must provide the following:
  • Legal business name (if applicable).
  • Valid government-issued identification.
  • Contact details (email, phone number, address).
  • Tax identification number (if required by law).
  • Bank account details for payments.
We reserve the right to approve or reject vendor applications based on our internal review process.

2. Product Listings and Policies

2.1 Product Guidelines
Vendors must ensure that all products listed on Rite Select:
  • Are accurately described with clear images and specifications.
  • Do not contain false, misleading, or deceptive information.
  • Are priced competitively and fairly.
  • Are available in stock unless otherwise indicated.
  • Comply with all local, national, and international laws.
2.2 Prohibited and Restricted Items
The following are not allowed on Rite Selection:
  • Illegal goods (e.g., stolen items, counterfeit products).
  • Harmful or dangerous items (e.g., weapons, explosives, hazardous materials).
  • Regulated items without proper authorization (e.g., prescription drugs, alcohol, tobacco).
  • Adult content (e.g., explicit materials, sex-related products).
  • Discriminatory or offensive items (e.g., hate speech, racial propaganda).
Rite Select reserves the right to remove any product that violates this policy.

3. Order Fulfillment and Shipping

3.1 Order Processing
Vendors must:
  • Process orders within the specified handling time.
  • Ensure correct packaging and labeling.
  • Provide valid tracking information (if applicable).
3.2 Shipping Policies
  • Vendors are responsible for shipping products in a timely and secure manner.
  • Shipping costs should be accurately calculated and displayed to buyers.
  • If offering free shipping, vendors must clearly specify this on the product page.
3.3 Delays and Non-Delivery
  • If an order is delayed, vendors must inform the buyer immediately.
  • Orders that are not shipped within the agreed timeframe may be canceled by Rite Select.
  • Repeated delivery failures may result in suspension or termination of the vendor account.

4. Returns, Refunds, and Disputes

4.1 Return and Refund Policy
Vendors must establish a clear return and refund policy and include:
  • Conditions under which returns are accepted.
  • Timeframe for return requests.
  • Refund processing time.
4.2 Handling Disputes
  • If a buyer requests a return or refund, the vendor must respond within 48 hours.
  • If a dispute cannot be resolved between the vendor and the buyer, Rite Select may intervene.
  • Vendors must comply with Rite Selection’s final decision on disputes.

5. Vendor Fees and Payments

5.1 Fees and Commission Structure
  • Rite Select charges vendors a commission on sales (percentage varies by category).
  • Additional fees may apply for featured listings, promotions, or payment processing.
  • Vendors will be notified of any fee changes in advance.
5.2 Payment Processing
  • Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider.
  • Vendors must ensure their bank account details are correct to receive payouts.
  • Payouts are typically processed on a weekly or monthly basis, depending on vendor preferences.
5.3 Payment Disputes
  • Vendors must resolve chargebacks or payment disputes in a timely manner.
  • Repeated chargebacks may lead to account suspension.

6. Vendor Responsibilities

6.1 Customer Service
Vendors must:
  • Respond to customer inquiries within 24-48 hours.
  • Handle complaints professionally.
  • Provide clear communication about order status and shipping delays.
6.2 Compliance with Laws
Vendors must:
  • Follow all local, national, and international laws regarding product sales.
  • Obtain necessary licenses and permits for selling restricted items.
  • Ensure product safety standards are met.
6.3 Fair Business Practices
Vendors must not engage in:
  • Fake reviews or feedback manipulation.
  • Fraudulent transactions or false advertising.
  • Selling counterfeit or unauthorized products.

7. Account Suspension and Termination

7.1 Reasons for Suspension
Rite Select may suspend or terminate a vendor account if:
  • The vendor violates platform policies.
  • There are excessive customer complaints or disputes.
  • The vendor is involved in fraudulent activities.
  • The vendor fails to meet minimum performance standards.
7.2 Appeal Process
  • Vendors may request a review of their suspension by contacting Rite Select support.
  • Decisions are final and based on an internal investigation.

8. Intellectual Property and Branding

8.1 Vendor Content
  • Vendors retain ownership of their product images, descriptions, and branding.
  • By listing products, vendors grant Rite Select a license to display their content.
8.2 Trademark and Copyright Policy
  • Vendors must not use trademarks or copyrighted materials without permission.
  • Rite Selection reserves the right to remove infringing content.

9. Data Protection and Privacy

9.1 Vendor Data Protection
  • Vendors must protect customer data and comply with applicable privacy laws.
  • Vendors must not sell or misuse customer information.
9.2 Rite Select’s Use of Vendor Data
  • We collect vendor information to improve platform services.
  • Vendor data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Vendor Policy

Rite Select reserves the right to update this Vendor Policy at any time. Vendors will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
